Pholidoptera aptera, the alpine dark bush-cricket, is a species of a cricket belonging to the subfamily Tettigoniinae. It is found in Eastern and Central Europe in the Alps and the Alpine foothills. In Switzerland, their presence limited to the eastern Alps, the Southern Alps and the Schaffhauser Randen. In Germany, it occurs south of the line Bodensee, to southern Munich. It also occurs in Austria and Slovenia. It is found at altitudes from 260 to 2360 meters above sea level in densely forested clearings or clearcuts, high-altitude orchards, bracken slopes, rocky, dwarf shrub communities and areas densely populated with grasses and herbaceous plants. At high altitudes, warm southern slopes are preferred.

Die Alpen-Strauchschrecke (Pholidoptera aptera) ist eine Langfühlerschrecke aus der Überfamilie der Laubheuschrecken (Tettigonioidea). Die Art besiedelt in den Alpen und dem Alpenvorland Lebensräume mit mittelhohem Bewuchs. Die Männchen haben einen auffälligen Gesang, der besonders abends sehr laut zu hören ist.

Podkrzewin bezskrzydły, ćwierkacz bezskrzydły (Pholidoptera aptera) – gatunek górskiego owada z rzędu prostoskrzydłych (Orthoptera). Występuje w Europie. W Polsce jest gatunkiem bardzo rzadko spotykanym – występuje tylko w Bieszczadach, Pieninach i Tatrach. Na Czerwonej Liście Zwierząt Ginących i Zagrożonych w Polsce klasyfikowany jest w kategorii NT (bliski zagrożenia).
Długość ciała do 22 (samce), 25 mm (samice). Barwa ciemnobrunatna, na grzbiecie rudawa. Silne nogi skoczne, brak skrzydeł. Spotykany od lipca na brzegach lasów i łąkach.
