Hylodes heyeri is a species of frog in the family Hylodidae.
It is endemic to Brazil.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, subtropical or tropical moist montane forest, rivers, and subterranean habitats (other than caves) on the Atlantic side of the country.
It is threatened by habitat loss.
This frog has smooth skin and light stripes. The skin of the frog's back is brown in color. Not all individuals have tubercles.
Scientists named this frog after Ron Heyer, who contributed to the sum of knowledge of Brazilian amphibians.

Hylodes heyeri je druh žáby z čeledi Hylodidae, který je endemický pro Brazílii. Mezi její přirozené biotopy patří subtropické či tropické vlhké nížinné a horské lesy, řeky a podzemní stanoviště (mimo jeskyně) na atlantické straně země. Je ohrožena ztrátou přirozeného prostředí. Tato žába má hladkou kůži se světlými pruhy a hřbet hnědé barvy. Ne všichni jedinci mají hrbolky. Vědci tento druh pojmenovali po Ronu Heyerovi, který významně přispěl k poznání brazilských obojživelníků.

Hylodes heyeri ist eine Froschart aus der Familie der Hylodidae, die in Brasilien endemisch ist. Ihre natürlichen Lebensräume umfassen subtropische oder tropische feuchte Tiefland- und Bergwälder, Flüsse sowie unterirdische Lebensräume (außer Höhlen) auf der atlantischen Seite des Landes. Die Art ist durch den Verlust ihres Lebensraums bedroht. Dieser Frosch hat eine glatte Haut mit hellen Streifen; die Rückenhaut ist braun gefärbt. Nicht alle Individuen weisen Tuberkel auf. Wissenschaftler benannten diesen Frosch nach Ron Heyer, der maßgeblich zur Erforschung der brasilianischen Amphibien beigetragen hat.
