The Vietnamese cutia (Cutia legalleni) is a bird species in the family Leiothrichidae. It is found in Laos and Vietnam.
It was long considered a subspecies of the Himalayan cutia (C. nipalensis), making the genus Cutia monotypic. In recent times, it is more often elevated to full species status.
Its natural habitat is tropical moist montane forests. The Vietnamese Cutia is not considered threatened by the IUCN, but as its range is far more restricted than that of its western relative, it is classified as a Near Threatened species after the split.

La Cutia vietnamita (Cutia legalleni) es un especie de ave paseriforme de la familia Leiothrichidae endémica del este de Indochina. Se encuentra únicamente en Vietnam y Laos.
Anteriormente se consideraba una subespecie de la cutia nepalesa (Cutia nipalensis), lo que hacía al género Cutia monotípico, pero ahora se consideran especies separadas.
Su hábitat natural son los bosques húmedos tropicales. No se considera una especie amenazada por el IUCN, pero su estado es más delicado que el de sus parientes del oeste, y por ello figura como especie casi amenazada.
