The Indian spot-billed duck (Anas poecilorhyncha) is a species of large dabbling duck that is a non-migratory breeding duck throughout freshwater wetlands in the Indian subcontinent. The name is derived from the red spot at the base of the bill that is found in the mainland Indian population. When in water it can be recognized from a long distance by the white tertials that form a stripe on the side, and in flight it is distinguished by the green speculum with a broad white band at the base. This species and the eastern spot-billed duck (A. zonorhyncha) were formerly considered conspecific, together called the spot-billed duck (A. poecilorhyncha).

Kachna skvrnozobá (Anas poecilorhyncha) je středně velký druh ptáka z čeledi kachnovití (Anatidae), řazený do rodu Anas. Vyskytuje se převážně v jižní a východní Asii, kde obývá sladkovodní biotopy v nížinách i mírně zvlněné krajině. Její jméno odkazuje na charakteristický zobák s tmavými skvrnami a žlutou špičkou. Patří mezi blízké příbuzné kachny divoké (Anas platyrhynchos), se kterou může vytvářet i křížence.

Die Indien-Fleckschnabelente (Anas poecilorhyncha) ist eine Vogelart aus der Gattung der eigentlichen Enten (Anas). Diese eher große und massig gebaute Entenart ist ausschließlich in Asien beheimatet. Sie ist weit verbreitet und zahlreich. Es werden drei Unterarten unterschieden, die sich in ihrem Körpergefieder leicht unterscheiden. Der Name der Ente bezieht sich auf zwei orangerote Punkte, die sich an beiden Seiten der Schnabelwurzel befinden.
